Our Guidelines for In-Person Services

As we prepare to restart in-person services, we truly want to thank you for your prayers and support during this unprecedented time. We are eager to welcome you back and would like to share our reopening plans with you.

Our plans are subject to change as we continue to monitor the COVID numbers in our local area. We will continue to follow state and CDC guidelines and exercise wisdom at all times, to ensure we worship safely.

Here are answers to some questions you may have:

How has the church prepared to reopen?

  • The church building has been sanitized using CDC-approved cleaning products. Enhanced cleaning will continue on an ongoing basis.

  • Some seats and rows have been blocked off to maintain social distancing.

  • Every one entering the building is required to wear face masks at all times (except children under the age of 2), maintain social distance of at least 6 feet, and follow posted guidelines for social distancing and hygiene.

  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the church.

  • Water fountains will not be usable.

  • Offering buckets will be placed in the front of the Sanctuary for guests who want to give. Online giving is encouraged through our website.

What will the building hours and service schedule be?

  • Service length will be shortened.

  • Maximum attendance is 30 persons.

  • All attendees (including children) must register in advance through Eventbrite or by calling the church office (646-334-3962).

  • Once your tickets are confirmed, please print and complete a health screening form for each ticket holder.

  • Bring your completed health screening form with you to the in-person service.

  • In-person visitors must complete a health screening at every visit. Visitors shall be denied entry if they report COVID-19 exposure or symptoms during the prior 14 days or have a temperature over 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • The building will be closed when services are not taking place. There will be no after-service gatherings or refreshments served.

  • We will continue to live stream the Sunday service on Youtube and Facebook.

Will Ministries and Events resume?

  • No in-person ministry events will be scheduled.

  • We encourage you to engage with our SIDT community through our online platforms. (Google Bible Study and Facebook)

We understand how hard this season has been and we’re praying for God’s guidance and wisdom in all of the choices you face in the weeks ahead. As always, If you need prayer, have a question, or would like to make an appointment with one of our Pastors or ministry team, we are ready to assist you with any needs you may have. Again, thank you for your continued support in this season. We can’t wait to welcome you back!
