West Brighton Community Garden
The West Brighton Community Garden grows organic produce for food pantries, and is located at the corner of Henderson Avenue and Chappell Street (by West Brighton Pool).
The garden is managed by Staten Island Deliverance Temple Inc., and overseen by GreenThumb – a division of New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.
In exchange for helping to care for the garden, the Garden also provides plots to volunteer gardeners who might not be able to garden at home.
